NU Admission Test Date
National University will hold the NU Honours admission test on Saturday, 25 April 2026. The exam will start at 11:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM.
Science, Business Studies, and Humanities applicants should follow this admission test schedule. You should still check the official NU notice board for any separate center instruction or final update before exam day.
| Group | Possible Date | Day | Time |
| Humanities | April 25, 2026 | Saturday | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM |
| Business Studies | April 25, 2026 | Saturday | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM |
| Science | April 25, 2026 | Saturday | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM |
Seat Plan
NU Honours seat plan matters because it helps you confirm your exam venue before the admission test. The clearest confirmed information is that the college exam center will be mentioned on the admit card.
Your admit card should be your first source for exam-center information. You should also monitor the official NU notice board and the admission portal in case National University publishes a separate seat-plan or center-related update before the exam.
Note: You cannot change your exam center. It is fixed.
Marks Distribution
NU Honours admission merit is prepared on 200 marks. The admission test carries 100 marks in MCQ format. National University also adds 40% of SSC GPA and 60% of HSC GPA to prepare the final merit list. Candidates must score at least 35 marks in the admission test to pass.
| Part | Marks / Weight |
|---|---|
| Admission test | 100 marks (MCQ) |
| SSC contribution | 40% of SSC GPA |
| HSC contribution | 60% of HSC GPA |
| Total merit consideration | 200 marks |
| Pass mark in admission test | 35 |
This means your MCQ performance matters, but your SSC and HSC results also directly affect your final merit position. Even if two students get similar admission test marks, their academic scores can still change the final merit order.
Instruction
Candidates must follow all instructions printed on the admit card. The admit card should be treated as the final exam-day instruction source.

Final Note
Your NU admit card is your final admission-test document, so check every detail carefully before exam day. Make sure your name, photo, exam center, and exam time are correct. If anything looks wrong, do not wait until the last moment. Know your seat plan and exam center early, and keep following the official NU admission portal and notice board for any last update.
